We Heal in Relationships
I’m Daniela Pacheco Olmedo, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 9 years of experience working as a psychologist, educator, and researcher. My work began with a deep interest in understanding how migration, identity, and trauma shape mental health, especially within Latinx/e and immigrant communities. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in community, clinical, and academic settings, including global mental health research and direct care with individuals navigating complex life experiences.
I specialize in trauma, migration, identity, gender, and global mental health. My approach is integrative, drawing from person-centered therapy, feminist psychology, systemic therapy, and trauma-informed, social justice–oriented practices. I work with adults and young people who are seeking to better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and build tools to live more aligned, meaningful lives.
In therapy, my goal is to create a safe, warm, and culturally responsive space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we explore patterns, emotions, and experiences, and work toward developing strategies that support your well-being. I’m committed to walking alongside you with empathy, respect, and collaboration as you move through your process of growth and change.
